b) Provide proof of secure area for the Golden
c) Guiding an applicant toward the Golden which would be best for their family
d) Home visit when concerns are found
Other program features a) Listing of obedience classes in the area
b) Using our volunteers who have training talents to help the adopting families who have problems
c) Providing short term "Golden Sitting" for adopting families
d) Annual update letter for Golden to identify death, health problems, etc.
Considerations for Intake/Surrender a) Try to keep a well-rounded selection of ages available for adoption.
b) No Goldens who are aggressive to humans or animals will be accepted.
c) Personal evaluation of all goldens whether from a shelter or an Owner Surrender.
